How to add a Question Grid to a survey
You can add a Question Grid to a survey.
How it works
Each row exists as a separate Multiple Choice Question on Makerble
The column titles exist as a Set of Answer Choices that are shared across all the questions in the grid
How results appear
You’ll see a chart for the entire grid
The example above is based on a grid of 10 rows (10 questions) and 5 columns (answer choices)
You’ll see a chart for each row (each Multiple Choice Question)
Results appear as
Bar Charts
Pie Charts
Interactive tables - click each row to see the respondents who selected that answer choice
Steps
How to do it while creating or editing a survey
To create a new survey click Create in the top menu > select More Options > select Survey. Then go to step 3
To edit an existing survey, open the left Sidebar > open Impact > select Surveys > then select that survey
You arrive on the survey’s Set Questions page
Press Create Question
Enter the first question , e.g. The objectives of the programme were met in the Name of Metric field
In the Outcome field: select one of your outcomes (you can create a new one from the Metrics App)
In the Answer Choice section, add the five Answer Choices: Strongly agree through to Strongly disagree.
Press Save
For question 2 and the other questions: press Create Question and then enter the name of the question in the Name of Metric field, but select Start with an existing set of Answer Choices and then choose the same set of Answer Choices that were used on question 1
Press Save
And then when you’re done, press Save to save the survey
Or do it from within the Metrics App
On the page where the survey is completed, each question is displayed as a standalone question rather than appearing within a grid.
