Remove a question from a survey
You can remove a question from a survey
Considerations
It might be better to hide (rather than remove) a survey question
How Removing Works
When you remove a question from a survey, the previous responses retain their answers to the removed question, but the removed question is no longer displayed on either the Analyse Survey Results or Survey Analytics pages.
The removed question will still be available for analysis on a Progress Board (unless you also remove that question from your Progress Board).
How Hiding Works
You can hide a question from a survey when you use survey versions Survey Versions - create several versions of the same survey
You can also hide a survey when you use Skip Logic
You could copy the survey instead
If you remove a question from a Survey Template that is used on multiple projects, the question will be removed from the Survey Campaigns on all of those projects.
It is not advised to edit a survey that has already been distributed or analysed. It would be better to duplicate the original survey and edit the new one. If you would prefer to copy a survey template, follow these steps: Copy a Survey Template
