Display or Hide the Story Privacy toggle

Every story has a default Story Privacy Level that is based on the default Story Privacy Level of the project that the story belongs to.

A story’s privacy level can be changed once the story has been created but you can enable people to change the privacy level while they are creating or editing a story.

Steps

  1. Go to the Survey’s profile page

  2. If Change update’s privacy is shown in the Questions List, it means that the option to change a story’s privacy is enabled on that survey

How to enable the option to change a story’s privacy

  1. Go to the Survey’s profile page

  2. Press More Options

  3. Select Edit

  4. You arrive on the Edit Survey page

  5. Scroll down to the Public Questions Library section on the left

  6. The Change story privacy lozenge will be listed

  7. Press the Add button to select it

  8. It will appear at the bottom of the Your Survey Questions list on the right side

  9. Use drag and drop to reorder its position in the survey as necessary

  10. Scroll to the bottom and press Save

How to disable the option to change a story’s privacy

  1. Go to the Survey’s profile page

  2. Press More Options

  3. Select Edit

  4. You arrive on the Edit Survey page

  5. Scroll down until you see Change update privacy in the Library

  6. Click the Delete Question button in the top right of that question

  7. It will be removed from the list of questions

  8. Scroll to the bottom and press Save
