Preview a survey: see what it will look like to a respondent

How to preview a survey

  1. Select Surveys in the left side bar and choose Master Surveys

  2. You arrive in the Surveys app. Click the title of the survey you want to preview

  3. You arrive on the survey’s profile page. Click Preview the survey

  4. A new tab will open that lets you preview the survey in About one contact mode (use the toggle to change to Several or No Contacts mode)

The section at the top is not part of the preview - that is there for you to vary what you see in the preview

How to preview from a survey campaign

  1. When you are on a survey campaign’s page, click Full Preview

  2. A new tab will open that lets you preview the survey in About one contact mode (use the toggle to change to Several or No Contacts mode)

Other ways to review a survey

  1. Go to the survey’s profile page

  2. Within the Survey Campaigns box: Pick a project you’d like to test this survey in

  3. You’ll arrive on the Collect Responses page and from here you can 

    1. Generate a link that can be shared with anyone. (If you test using this link, make sure that you open the link in a window where you are not already signed into Makerble)

    2. Send the survey to some test contacts via email

    3. Or test one of the other methods available for collecting survey responses
