Set questions as Mandatory (Compulsory) or Optional in a survey

You can decide whether a survey question is Mandatory or Optional.

  • By default, all questions are Optional

If you are using Skip Logic, pay attention to whether questions you set as Mandatory will conflict with the Skip Logic rules you are adding

Steps

  1. Access the Edit Survey Template page

  2. To make a question mandatory, check the Mandatory tick box next to that question

  3. Scroll to the bottom and press Save
