Escalate an In-App Alert if it remains unresolved

You can automatically escalate an In-App Alert to one or more designated colleagues if the alert remains unresolved for a certain period of time.

  • The designated colleague will receive an email letting them know that the alert has been escalated to them.

Steps

  1. While creating or editing an Automation, go to the In-App Alerts tab

  2. Ensure that the fields in the In-App Alerts section have been completed fully, i.e.

    1. The PEOPLE section

    2. The MESSAGE section

    3. The ACTION section

  3. Scroll down to the Escalate section

  4. Select Yes

  5. Select the individual users you would like to escalate this to

  6. Select the number of days that should pass before an unresolved alert is escalated

  7. Press Save

  8. That’s it
