Create an Automation

You can create Automation within a specific project.

  • This means that when a contact in that project meets the Criteria of that Automation, the Actions within that Automation will be performed.

Steps

  1. Select Create in the top menu

  2. Select Automation

     

  3. You arrive on the Create Automation page

     

  4. Select which project this Automation should operate across.

  5. In the Automation Criteria section: Select the conditions that need to be met to trigger the alert - you can select from

    1. Contact Form fields

    2. Survey fields

    3. Productivity trackers, e.g. the number of updates that a contact has been tagged in

      Here, you will find three options, IF, IS, and THIS fill this necessary condition to create the automation.

       

    4. You can choose to send an alert to a user whenever a user enrolled in the project by choosing Instantly in IS dropdown

  6. In the Automation actions, select the recipients of the alert. You can choose a specific group of users or enter the names of individual users.
    The Automation actions have three options to create an alert,
    IN-APP ALERTS,
    MESSAGES
    SURVEYS

     

  7. In the In-App Alerts, the first section is Then sent these PEOPLE where you can add users to receive this alert.

     

  8. Add the Alert Message which will accompany the alert

  9. Describe the action you want people to do when they receive the Alert.

     

  10. Add an Escalation option, i.e. to alert more senior staff if the Alert is not resolved within a specific timeframe

  11. The other section is Messages, where the user will receive alerts through mail and SMS.

  12. There are options for Message contacts via SMS and Message contacts via Email.

     

  13. Once you enter all the necessary details, press Save.

  14. You arrive on the Manage Automations page
