Design your use of Progress Trackers

Progress Trackers are the way you record measurable progress.

  • Whenever a story or survey response is created in Makerble, it contains progress recorded against one or more Progress Trackers.

  • Every story is saved in a project.

  • When you want to report results, go to the project’s results. You’ll see the summary of the progress that has been recorded against each progress tracker in that project.

  • When you need to see results from several projects (i.e. using an Album), go to the album’s results to see the aggregate results from the projects in that album.

How many types of progress tracker can I have?

There are 5 types of progress tracker on Makerble:

  • Activity - to record activities, sessions, events

  • Engagement - to record engagement (or various forms of non-engagement)

  • Achievement - to record one-off achievements, e.g. using a checkbox

  • Multiple Choice - to record progress along a scale

  • Numerical - to record numerical progress about an individual participant, e.g. the number of miles a participant ran

What else can I do with progress trackers?

Combine several progress trackers into a strategy

  • Every project on Makerble has an auto-generating Strategy that is made up of the Progress Trackers you use on that project

Include progress trackers in a survey

A key feature of Makerble is that Progress Trackers coexist as survey questions. This allows you to understand survey results in the context of how they relate to your programme’s strategy.
