How stories work

• Every story has its own page

• Every story belongs to only one project

• Every story is created using only one survey

• Every story has only one user recorded as its author

• A story can tag one contact, several contacts or no contacts at all

• Stories automatically appear in the

  • story author’s Timeline

  • Timeline of any contacts who are tagged in the story

  • Timeline of the project the story belongs to

  • Timelines of any Albums that the project is in

  • Homepage Newsfeed of relevant users

• A story must contain information in at least one of the following types of field:

  • Text

  • Attachment

  • Progress towards a Progress Tracker

  • An answer to a survey question

• Every story can have several dates associated with it

  • Date Posted

  • Date Most Recently Edited

  • Date the activity actually happened

  • Any custom date fields that are added to the story’s survey
