Full Name: include or remove Makerble's in-built Name field from your Contact Form
Makerble has an inbuilt field called name which appears on the Create/Edit Contact Form page
When it is displayed on the Create/Edit Contact page it appears as Full Name
This is the field that is used to name your contacts
The inbuilt Name field is added to every Contact Form automatically
You don’t need to do anything to add Makerble’s inbuilt Name field.
It is automatically added to every Contact Form you create
However, if you don’t want to store the name of a contact, you can remove Makerble’s inbuilt Name field from the Contact Form being used on your Signup Page. Each contact will instead be named “Respondent [number]”.
How to remove the inbuilt Name field
Go to the Create Contact Form page to do this for a new Contact Form or the Edit Contact Form to do this on an existing Contact Form
The bin icon can be seen next to the name field
If you click on the bin, a pop-up opens, and asks if you really intend to remove that field from your form. It looks something like this:
Click on Yes-Remove it button, if you really want to remove it. Remember, you can add it back again anytime.
Read the instructions on the pop-up carefully. All contacts created through this form will have “[Contact Form] RESPONDENT [number]” as their name.
It will NOT affect any old contacts that were created using this form.
