What this article covers

When you can trigger the automation

The automation criteria is based on the amount of time that has passed since the contact was added to a particular Event Guest Status (Event State) of an event

The Automation Bot runs every hour. This means that even though you could technically enter a number of minutes, in practice it is better to use 1 hour as the minimum amount of time.

For example…

E.g. if you want to send a confirmation email once someone has been moved from an event’s Waiting List state to an event’s Approved Guest List state

  • Using = you ought to want to restrict this automation to a specific Event Category. You can select one or more Event Categories in this field.

  • Is = Greater than or equal to (Time)

  • This = here you would enter '1' in the Hours field

  • This will trigger the automation for any guest in the EVENT event category who at the time of the Automation Bot running has been in the Approved state of an event for 1 hour or more

Automation Action
