Quick Guide: Create a new field while creating a Contact Form

You can create new fields while creating a Contact Form.

Fields you can create

  • Attachment fields.

  • Date fields.

  • Extending Tables.

  • Number fields (these are different to Progress Trackers).

  • Sections (these are not fields that data is entered into but they are created from the Create New Field popup).

  • Text fields.

  • Telephone Number fields. These ensure that people enter the Country Code when saving a phone number.

  • Time fields.

  • Ward fields (these are Postcode fields with a Ward Lookup).

Steps

  1. Select My Apps in the top menu

  2. Scroll across until you see the Contact Forms App

  3. Press the Contact Forms button

  4. You arrive on the Manage Contact Forms page

  5. Press the New Contact Form button

  6. You arrive on the New Contact Form page

  7. Give the Contact Form a name

  8. Select the Add New Field button

  9. A popup loads

  10. Use the Choose the type of new field radio button to select the type of field you want to create

  11. Give the field a name

  12. Select an Owner Type - choose Organisation

  13. Set Privacy as Organisation Leaders & Editors

  14. Press Save

  15. That field is now created and you will see it
