Assign a Role to a Contact

You can assign one or more roles to a contact

Steps

Requirements

  1. Go to the Contact Profile Page of the contact you want to give a role to

  2. Scroll down to the Roles box that appears on the left side

  3. Press the + Add a Role button within the Roles box.

  4. If you have not created any Roles then

    1. The + Add a Roles button will not be displayed.

    2. The Create a Role text will be displayed which on clicking will redirect you to the Create a Role page.

    3. The text “This prompt appears to you because you are an Organisation Admin” if you are the Admin.

    4. You can get to know more about Relationships by clicking on the text What are Roles?

  5. The Roles box expands to display the Select Contact role dropdown list where you can choose a Role to give the contact

  6. You must add a Start date to the role

  7. Adding an End date is optional

  8. Press Save

  9. The box updates with the details of the Role you gave the contact
