Assign a Contact to an Audience (Role)

You can assign one or more audiences (formerly Roles) to a contact

Steps

Requirements

  1. Go to the Contact Profile Page of the contact you want to give an Audience (formerly Roles) to

  2. Scroll down to the Audiences box that appears on the left side

  3. Press the + Add an Audience button within the audience (formerly Roles) box.

  4. If you have not created any Audiences then

    1. The + Add an Audience button will not be displayed.

    2. The Create an Audience text will be displayed which on clicking will redirect you to the Create an Audience page.

    3. The text “This prompt appears to you because you are an Organisation Admin” if you are the Admin.

    4. You can get to know more about Relationships by clicking on the text What are Audiences (formerly Roles)?

  5. The Audiences box expands to display the Select Contact audience dropdown list where you can choose an audience to give the contact

  6. You must add a Start date to the audience (formerly Roles)

  7. Adding an End date is optional

  8. Press Save

  9. The box updates with the details of the audience (formerly Roles) you gave the contact
