Remove a Contact Form from a project

If you want to stop using a particular Contact Form on a project, you can remove it from that project.

If you still want the fields in those forms to be visible on your contacts' bios, ensure that those fields have been added to another Contact Form which has been added to those contacts.

Stages

  1. See which projects use that Contact Form

  2. Remove the Contact Form from one or more of those projects

Steps

You must be an Organisation Admin to do these steps

Stage 1 - see which projects use that Contact Form

  1. Select My Apps in the top menu

  2. Scroll across until you see Contact Forms

  3. You arrive on Manage Contact Forms

  4. Select the name of the Contact Form you want to stop using

  5. You arrive on that Contact Form’s profile page

  6. The Projects box displays the names of projects using that Contact Form. Click the project’s name to go to its profile page

Stage 2 - remove the Contact Form from one or more of those projects

  1. Click the More Options button on the right side of the project’s header

  2. A dropdown menu appears: select Preferences

  3. You arrive on the Project Preferences

  4. Remove the Contact Form from

    1. Forms to use when creating a contact

    2. Forms to use when editing a contact

  5. Scroll to the bottom and press Save.

If you remove a Contact Form from a project but one of your contacts is part of a different project which still uses that Contact Form, the Contact Form will still be visible on that contact’s bio.
