Create a Signup Page (to receive inbound referrals from anyone with the link)

Each of your projects can have several Signup Pages.

  • These allow you to receive inbound referrals from anyone with the link to the Signup Page

If you want your Signup Page to create several related Contact Profiles at once, use the steps in the Multi-person Signup Page article (How to create a multi-person Signup Page)

  • For example, creating:

    • a Contact Profile Page for the client

    • and a related Contact Profile Page for whoever the referrer is

    • and another Contact Profile Page for the client’s Next of Kin, etc

Step-by-step guide

Requirements:

  1. Select My Apps in the top menu

  2. Select Contacts (if you don't see Contacts as an option, you can access the Contacts App via the Control Panel)

  3. You arrive on the Manage Contacts page

  4. Select the More Options button in the Contacts App

  5. A dropdown menu appears

  6. Select Signup Pages in the dropdown menu (formerly called Referral Forms)

  7. You arrive on the Signup Pages page

  8. Press Create a Signup Page

  9. You arrive on the page to Create a Signup Page

    1. Give the link (Signup Page) a name

      1. Pro Tip: this is the name that will appear to your new event guests, e.g. Event Signup Page

    2. Choose the project you want contacts to be created within:

      1. Pro Tip: this should be the same project as the one that your events are being created in

    3. Choose the state (Waiting List, Enrolled, Alumni, Declined) that you want contacts to be added to

    4. Choose the Contact Form you want to be completed

    5. Optionally choose Surveys you want to be completed during the Event Self Registration process

  10. Press save

  11. You return to the page where you can Manage Signup Pages - there is now a shareable web link for your new Signup Page

  12. Click Copy the link and share it with your referral partners or display it on your website.

  13. This is what the Sign-up Page will look like for signed-out users.

    The External Description is displayed below the name of the field and will appear in grey and italics for the signed-out users.
