Get deeper engagement from your contacts
When you invite a contact to become a Participant, they can sign in to Makerble and access a customised view of the platform where they can answer surveys, share progress and more.
Step-by-step instructions
Pro Tip
The primary way to turn a contact into a participant is to add that contact to a Progress Board Invite contacts to become Participants (by adding contacts to a Managed Progress Board).
However if your intention is to allow contacts to submit survey responses rather than access a Progress Board, you can use the method below.
Access the contact’s Profile Page
Press Invite to participate (this is a premium feature that needs to be enabled on your account - contact billing@makerble.com to purchase Participant Credits and turn it on)
You arrive on the Participating As tab
Use the text box on the right side to enter the contact’s email address
If that contact already exists as a Makerble User, you can select their name from the search results
If that contact does not already exist as a Makerble User, a User Account will be automatically generated for them and they’ll receive an email containing their login detailsvv
You’ll be redirected to either the contact’s profile page (Summary tab) or to the Participating Contacts page.
To access the Participating Contacts page,
go to the Contacts app
click More Options
select Participating Contacts
You’ll arrive on this page where you can see the status of the Connection Requests sent to any existing Makerble Users as well as the New User Accounts that have been created.
