Get survey questions to indicate progress towards outcomes

When you allocate survey questions to outcomes, you can visualise results at an outcome level.

  • In the example below the 10 survey questions around the edge of the chart are all linked to an outcome called Experience of the company outcome

  • You’ll also see progress nested under the progress tracker’s outcome whenever you look at a project or album’s Impact Scorecard

How to allocate survey questions to outcomes

You can only allocate the following types of survey question to an outcome

When creating a new survey question

  • If you are on the Set the Questions tab of your survey and have clicked Add a new question: you will see the Outcome dropdown menu within the New Question popup.

  • Use the dropdown menu to select the outcome you want to allocate this question to

If the survey already exists

  1. Select Surveys in the left sidebar menu and choose Master Surveys

  2. Scroll down until you see your survey. Click its name to go to the survey’s profile page

  3. Click Actions next to the survey question. A dropdown menu appears. Select Edit

  4. A popup loads: Select an outcome using the outcomes dropdown list

  5. Press save

Alternative methods to allocate outcomes to survey questions

You can also allocate outcomes to survey questions from several other places within Makerble

Know which outcomes your survey questions are allocated to

  • Select Impact in the left sidebar menu and choose Outcomes

  • You’ll arrive on your Outcomes page that shows a column for every Outcome and a row for every indicative progress tracker being used across your organisation
