External Sharing of contacts is turned off by default. Only an Organisation Admin can turn it on.

How it works

• Once External Sharing is turned on, your colleagues will be able to use the Privacy Popup on a contact's profile page to give somebody who is not part of your organisation access to that contact.

Steps to turn on External Sharing

1. Select More in the top menu

   Open

   

2. A dropdown menu appears

3. Select Control Panel

   Open

   

4. You arrive on the Control Panel

5. Scroll down and select Preferences in the Account section

6. You arrive on the Organisation Preferences page

7. Tick the checkbox to turn on External Sharing: “Allow people outside the organisation to be given access to a contact”

8. Scroll to the bottom and press Save
