Create a strategy template

You can create several Strategy Templates and add existing Outcomes and Progress Trackers to them.

Steps

Tip: Create your Outcomes and Progress Trackers first. Then add them to your Strategy Template.

  1. Select Create in the top menu

  2. Select More Options

  3. Select Strategy

  4. You arrive on the Strategy Template Details page

  5. Give the Strategy a name

  6. Select the Cover Image you want to use for that strategy.

  7. Use an image size of 1600 pixels in width and 400 pixels in height to ensure it fits properly.

  8. You must choose a Department: select Public Impact

  9. Press Next

  10. You arrive on the Edit Strategy Canvas page

  11. From there you can

    1. Add Progress Trackers and Outcomes to each stage of the Strategy.

      1. Click Choose from Library

      2. For Activity Trackers and Engagement Trackers: a dropdown list of metrics appears. Select a metric

      3. Click Choose from Library again to choose another one

      4. For Outcomes - a popup appears - use the navigation in the first column to find a group of outcomes, then pick an outcome from the 2nd column and click Add to board

    2. Remove metrics from a stage by pressing the Remove button

    3. Change the order of metrics within each stage (column) by using the up/down arrows next to the Remove button

  12. Press Save Changes
