Add an Observer (Perspective Provider) to a Contact

You can add several Observers to a contact.

  • An Observer is allowed to fill in a 360° survey about the contact they’ve been added to

Steps

  1. Go to the Contact profile page of the contact who will be the subject of the 360° survey

  2. Optional:

    1. check that the Observer has a Relationship with the contact

    2. It is not mandatory to create a Relationship between an Observer and a Contact (the Perspective Receiver). However if you do, it makes it easier to identify and filter their responses.

    3. If the Observer does not already have a Relationship with the Contact, you can create a Relationship between them

  3. Go to the Perspectives From tab of the contact’s profile page

  4. Enter the names of the Observers

    1. If the Observer already exists as a Contact on Makerble, that contact (the Observer) needs to have their Email Address saved on their Contact Profile.

    2. If the Observer does not already exist as a Contact on Makerble, you must enter their email address in the Add an Observer text field. (Makerble will automatically generate a Contact Record for that person and their name will be their email address; until you edit it)

  5. Press Save Changes

  6. Now you are ready to invite that Observer to fill in a 360° survey about that contact. Here’s how to do that: Collect responses to a 360° survey
