Copy a Survey Response or Story

You can now create a copy (duplicate) of a survey response/story and create a new one with the same responses and edit it for a contact.

This can be helpful when the story has same responses and only some of them needs to be changed and copying an already existing responses will time.

Enable Copying of Story

You need to enable the copy story setting in Project Preference page before you can copy a story. Follow these steps to enable the setting for a project:

  1. Go to the Project Preference Page

  2. Scroll down to Stories section

  3. Go to the Allow stories to be copied option and check the checkbox corresponding to it

  4. Press Save button.

You need to enable this setting for all projects individually

Copy a Story

You will now see the copy option on all the pages you can see a story. Follow these steps to copy a story:

  1. Find the survey response/story you want to copy. You can find them on various pages such as Contact Profile Page, Project Profile Page, Homepage etc.

  2. Click on the Cog option ( image-20250102-054704.png ) on the top-right corner of the story.

     

  3. Story options will appear in a dropdown.

  4. Select the Copy option

     

  5. The story will be copied and the Edit Story page will open for the newly created story.

     

  6. Make the adjustments required for the new story.

  7. Press Publish Now button to save the changes.

  8. A story with the changes made will be created and visible on the relevant pages (Eg. Contact Profile page, Project Profile page etc.)
