Read a Tip

You can read a Tip in several ways, depending on which page you are on.

  • Every tip has its own page

  • But you can also read a Tip when it appears on your Homepage Newsfeed or on a user’s Timeline

How to access a Tip’s own page

From the Homepage or a user’s Timeline

  • Every tip has a title which is written in blue text.

  • Click that title and you’ll arrive on the tip’s own page

From the My Tips page

  • You can access this page by selecting My Apps in the top menu and then choosing Tips from the submenu

  • This page displays a table of the tips you have created or added to your favourites

  • Every tip has a title on the first column which is written in blue text.

  • Click that title and you’ll arrive on the tip’s own page

 

From the Manage Organisation’s Tips page

  • You can access this page by selecting My Apps in the top menu and then choosing Tips from the submenu. Now select the radio button for Organisation

  • This page displays a table of the tips owned by your organisation

  • Every tip has a title on the first column which is written in blue text.

  • Click that title and you’ll arrive on the tip’s own page

Things you can do on a Tip's page

  1. Read the tip - if the tip contains resurrected that are attached to it (e.g. PowerPoint files or pdfs) you can click those filenames to view them in a new window or save them to your device)

  2. Discuss the tip - you can discuss the tip by adding a comment to it

  3. Share the tip - the web address of the page you are on is the web address of this specific tip. Simply copy this web address and paste it in the place you want to share that tip.

  4. Add the tip to a collection

  5. Save the tip to your favourites
