You can automate sending a contact a survey to complete

Steps

Your project must have surveys added to it if you want to automate sending surveys to contacts; and because the survey is sent to contacts via email, your contacts must have an email address saved on their contact record. (How to add a new field to a Contact Form)

  1. Select Create in the top menu

  2. Select Automation

  3. Choose the project you want this automation to run across

  4. Set the criteria you want to use for this automation to run, e.g. when a contact is added to a project

  5. In the Automation Actions section:

    1. Select the Surveys tab

    2. In the Choose Survey dropdown list select the survey you want to send

    3. In the Set Expiry section: choose whether you want contacts to be able to reuse the same link to submit multiple survey responses

    4. In the Add an additional message text box: type a message that the contact will see in the email containing their unique survey link

    5. In the Add Reminder section:

      1. choose the amount of time you want to pass before the first reminder is sent

      2. type a subject line and message for the first reminder

      3. Click Add another reminder to add additional reminders

    6. Press Save

  6. You arrive on the Manage Automations page that displays all the automations that exist across your organisation.

The user can personalize their messages using Mail Marge tags.

The content of the message, be it Email or SMS, can be customized by inserting recipient-specific details such as name, location, or other personalized information.

This can be done by

  • Clicking on the drop-down menu with the placeholder Personlize with their details.

  • Select the tags from the drop-down menu.

Note: The details of the contact must be present in order to use the particular tag.
Eg: If mobile number field is present in the contact form but it has not been entered for a particular contact then the Mail Merge tag _Mobile_no_will not display the number for that contact.
