  • Assigning a Contact Role to a Contact Type helps you organize your contacts as well as contact forms.

  • This organized approach makes it easier to identify the contacts and/or contact forms based on the roles and types.

There are several places where you can assign a contact role to a contact type

  1. When Creating a Contact Form

  2. When Editing a Classic Contact Form

  3. On the Manage Contact Form page

Note: The Contact Roles that are assigned to a Contact Type will be displayed in the drop-down menu when Creating a Contact Form.

On the Manage Contact Form page

  1. Navigate to the Manage Contact Form page.

  2. Click on the Design Your Roles button.

  3. You arrive at the Manage Design Your Role page.

  4. You can assign the existing contact roles to the contact types by clicking on the check box that is below each contact type.

  5. You can also create a role by clicking on the Add another role

    1. A text box asking you to enter the name of the role appears. Enter the name and click on Save.

    2. This will take you to the Create Contact Form page.

  6. Go back to the Manage Design Your Role page and you can now assign the newly created role with the contact types.

  7. You can also Edit the name of the role by clicking on the image-20240220-121543.png icon, edit the role, and press image-20240220-121929.png icon.

  8. You can remove the roles by clicking on the X-Remove.
