Comparison mode on a Progress Board
You can do Side-By-Side comparison of data and see the difference between them using the Comparison view of Progress Board.
For example; if you want to compare last year's results with this year's results, you can use the Comparison view. This view allows you to see both of the years' results next to each other for easy comparison.

How to access Comparison mode
From the Side Menu
Select Impact in the Side Menu and choose Progress Boards
You arrive on the Manage Progress Boards page in Cards view. Switch to Rows to see a table.
Select the Progress Board you want to open
The Progress Board opens in Cards view
Click Display
Select Comparison from the dropdown menu
You are now on the Comparison page of the progress board that lets you see results side-by-side
From the legacy version
Go to the progress board page (Find a Progress Board )
Click on New Version button to see the new progress boards
Open the Display dropdown
Now select the Comparison option
You arrive on the Comparison View of progress board.
How to use Comparison mode
A tab for every progress tracker and survey question
Change between various progress trackers on the progress board
You can just select the tracker you want to see.
You can also use the Jump To option
Navigate between Progress Boards
Use the Switch Progress Board option is quickly switch between progress boards
Switch between views - Analytics, Comparison and Cards
You can change the view of the progress board between Analytics, Cards and Comparison view using the Display option
Filter the results
Filter the results on a single side
You can use Left Side Filter to filter the data in the left chart
Or the Right Side Filter to filter the data in the right chart
The filter that can be applied to charts are:
Filter by Project: Select the projects whose data is to be displayed in the chart. You can choose multiple projects
Filter by Album: Select the album whose data is to be displayed in the chart. You can choose multiple albums
Filter by Year: Which year data is to be displayed
Apply filters to both the charts
You can apply filters to both the charts simultaneously by using the filters present in the left side of the page
Use lenses to split results based on contact characteristics
This is present in the right side of the page. This helps you to split the answers based on characteristics of contacts. The fields you used in your contact form can be used to split the answers in the chart to get a much deeper insights on the progress of the contacts.
For example; if I have a field called gender in my contact form and want to know how the various genders have responded to the questions in the survey, I will split the chart using the gender field in the Split By tab present on the right side of the page. This will split the options in the chart based on all the genders and tell me which gender has selected which option in the survey.

You can change the chart from Bar Chart to Pie chart for both left and right chart
Adjust the breadth of information displayed
You can select what data you want to see in the chart using the Chart Data option
Download your results
You can download the charts as well
Switch between Numbers and Percentages
You can see the data in various format by changing the Y axis of the charts. You can switch between percent and number format using this option. It is present above the chart and works separately for each chart. The options available are:
% of question responses: Percent based on the responses present
Number: Display results in numbers
% of project contacts: Percent based on number of contacts in project
Using these options you can easily compare data between various years and project to see the progress and compare them.
