Analyse data from Engagement Trackers using a Progress Board
You can use a Progress Board to analyse progress towards Engagement Trackers (participation outputs)
Types of reporting and analysis you can do
Progress towards target
Progress over time
Progress over time , split by Demographic Categories (e.g. Gender, Ethnicity, Disability)
Progress filtered by attributes of tagged contacts (e.g. Gender, Group, Flags)
Progress filtered by story attributes (e.g. Author, Project, Date Posted, etc)
Quick ways to get started:
Create a Progress Board (click Create in the top menu and select Progress Board)
Add one of your project’s Engagement Trackers to the Board (select it from the left side panel)
Press save. That’s it - now you’ll see a card for that tracker on your progress board.
Chart view
Go to the Progress Board whose data you want to analyse
Scroll down to find the card you’re looking for. Press Load More if it isn’t shown.
Click the title of the card to launch the popup
The popup loads in Chart view
From here you can
Segment the data using Split By
Change the time interval over which data is viewed. Options are
Monthly
Quarterly
Yearly
Table view
Go to the Board whose data you want to analyse
Scroll down to find the card you’re looking for. Press Load More if it isn’t shown.
Click the title of the card to launch the popup
The popup loads in Chart view by default. Select Table
A table appears
Click a number to backtrace the data
Another popup appears with the Contacts tab loaded by default
The Contacts tab list the unique individuals who have been tagged in updates (irrespective of how many times they have each been tagged)
Select the Stories tab to see a list of stories (or survey responses) from which this data comes
You arrive on the Stories tab which displays
Date of the story
Who posted it
The project it is saved in
