Create a field to store contacts' mobile phone numbers

Steps

If you want to send and receive SMS messages using Makerble, you must designate a field to store a contact’s mobile phone number. If you have already created a Mobile Phone Number field, follow the instructions to add an existing field to a Contact Form

  1. Select My Apps in the top menu

  2. Scroll across and select Contact Forms

  3. You arrive on the Manage Contact Forms page

  4. Either

    1. choose an existing Contact Form to add the mobile number field to

      1. Press the cog button in the Tools column

      2. Select Edit in the menu

    2. or create a new Contact Form

      1. Press the New Contact Form button

  5. You arrive on a page where you can edit the contact form

  6. Select the Add New Field button

  7. In the New Field popup, select Telephone as the type of field

  8. In the Name field, write Mobile Phone Number

  9. Select an Owner Type - choose Organisation

  10. Set Privacy as Organisation Leaders & Editors

  11. Press Save

  12. The popup closes and the field is now added to the contact form

  13. Scroll to the bottom and press Save
