Once you have turned on SMS Messaging, your organisation has a Makerble Mobile Phone Number.

It can only be used to send and receive SMS messages, you cannot use it to make or receive phone calls.
Whenever a contact sends an SMS message to your organisation’s Makerble Mobile Phone Number, you receive a notification.
You can control the number of notifications you receive.

Receive SMS messages from your contacts

Note: if a contact has multiple mobile phone numbers, they will have a separate Conversations tab for each of their mobile phone numbers.

There are two ways that one of your contacts can send an SMS to your organisation's Makerble mobile phone number:

By sending the SMS directly
By replying to an SMS that you have sent them

1. When the contact sends an SMS to your organisation's Makerble Mobile Phone Number directly

When one of your Makerble contacts whose mobile phone number you have stored in a compatible mobile phone number field sends a message to your organisation's Makerble Makerble Phone Number, that message will be saved within Makerble and appear in the SMS Conversations tab of that contact.

2. When the contact replies to an SMS that your organisation has sent them

If your organisation has sent one of your contacts an SMS via Makerble, then when the contact replies to that SMS, the SMS will be saved in Makerble and will appear in the SMS Conversations tab for that contact.
