If you have ‘walk-ins’ at your events (i.e. people who are completely new to your organisation who are allowed to turn up), you can use Self Registration for New Guests so that those new people can:

  • turn up at your event

  • complete a form to provide you with their contact details (which saves their details in your Contacts)

  • complete a Self Check-In Form to log their attendance (which includes their attendance in Reports)

Create 2 contact forms

  1. Create 2 contact forms, one for the Referrer and one for the Event GuestCreate a Contact Form

  2. Add each of those Contact Forms to a project, i.e. Add a Contact Form to a project

    1. add the Referrer contact form to a Referrer’s project

    2. add the Event Guest contact form to a project you’re using to manage those events

Add those 2 Contact Forms to a Signup Page

Create a Multi-contact Signup Page

You add that Signup Page to your event

Activate Self Registration for an event

Publish the Signup Page on your website

Embed a Public Signup Form in a website powered by Wordpress, Squarespace, Drupal or another CMS (Content Management System)

The Signup Page is then completed by the Referrer who adds

  • their own details

  • but also the details of the event guest
