Overview

This guide provides instructions for using the new "Copy to Clipboard" functionality for QR codes associated with shareable links. This feature is available on various pages including Survey Campaigns, Referral Links, Progress Boards, and Event pages.

Extend the Generate QR codes functionality for shareable links (e.g., survey campaign, referral link, progress board and links on the Event page (Self Check-in and Event Signup)

Functionality

A New Feature: Copy to the Clipboard

  • When the QR Code button is clicked, a popup appears with the QR code and a new "Copy to Clipboard" button.

  • This allows users to copy the image of the QR code to the clipboard for easy sharing.

Survey Campaign page

Steps:

  1. Navigate to the Survey Campaign page. https://makerble.atlassian.net/wiki/x/doB3CQ

  1. To get the QR code check if Collect responses from anyone with the link is enabled.

  1. Now, For a survey with a shareable link, click the QR Code button.

  1. In the popup that appears, click the "Copy to Clipboard" button to copy the image of the QR code.

Manage Referral Links Page

Steps:

  1. Click the QR Code button next to the desired referral link.

  1. In the popup that appears, click the "Copy to Clipboard" button to copy the image of the QR code.

Progress Board

Steps:

  1. Navigate to the Progress Board or Managed Progress Board. Share a Progress Board externally

  2. Click the Share button. (Make sure privacy setting is Everyone can access)

  1. In the Share popup, click the QR Code button.

  2. In the popup that appears, click the "Copy to Clipboard" button to copy the image of the QR code.

Events

Steps:

  1. Look for the Event you want to share QR code and open the individual the events page.

  2. Click the QR Code button next to the desired link (Self Check-in or Event Signup). Turn on Self Check-in for Event Guests

  3. In the popup that appears, click the "Copy to Clipboard" button to copy the image of the QR code.

Example Workflow

  1. Survey Campaign: Share the survey QR code with the public by copying it to the clipboard and pasting it into emails or other communication channels.

  2. Referral Links: Easily distribute signup page QR codes by copying them to the clipboard.

  3. Progress Boards: Share progress board QR codes with external stakeholders/Users.

  4. Event Pages: Facilitate event check-ins and signups by copying the QR codes to the clipboard.

Additional Information

Permissions: Ensure you have the necessary permissions to access and share the links.
