Contacts widget: Filter the contacts shown in the Contacts widget on your Homepage

You can filter the contacts shown in the Contacts widget on your Homepage. Makerble's contacts widget allows you to easily view and manage your contacts, but what if you only want to see specific groups of people? That's where contact filters come in! Filters let you narrow down the list of contacts displayed in the widget, making it easier to find the information you need.

Applying Contact Filters

  1. Open the Contacts Widget: Locate the Makerble contacts widget on your home screen or dashboard.

  3. Choose Your Filters: The filter menu will present various options to categorize your contacts. These options may include:

    • Contact states: Filter by the state of the contact, such as "Enrolled," "Waiting list," or "Declined."

    • Projects: Filter by Projects the contact is a part of.

    • Date Joined: View only the contacts that have joined in a specific period of time.

    • Roles: Filter by the role a contact may have in your organization.

  4. Select Your Criteria: Once you choose a filter category, tap on the specific criteria you want to apply. For example, if you select "Projects," you'll see a list of your Projects. Tap the Project you want to filter by.

  5. Save your filter: Press the “Save” button to save your filters and see the list of filtered contacts.

Additional Tips

  • Combine Filters: You can combine multiple filters to further narrow down your contact list. For example, you can filter by group and then by label to see only your family members who have a work email address.

  • Clear Filters: To remove any applied filters and see all your contacts again, tap the "Reset" button in the filter menu.

By using contact filters effectively, you can personalize your contacts widget experience and easily access the information you need, when you need it.
