See UK population figures on a map

You can see UK population figures on a map.

How to do it

  1. Select Maps in the My Apps menu

  2. You arrive in the Maps app

  3. Select Metric

  4. A popup appears

  5. In the Type of Metric dropdown menu, choose Open Data

  6. In the Progress Tracker dropdown menu, choose UK Population and press Save

  7. The map loads to show the population in each region

Change the aggregation level

  • Click the aggregation level dropdown menu

  • Change it to the level you want to see data at

  • Your data will then load

See the data table

  • Click the Data Table button to see a popup that shows a breakdown of what’s displayed on the map

  • The data table loads as a popup
