Close (Archive) a project

You can close (archive) any project you are a Manager of.

  • If you are an Organisation Admin, you can close any project within your organisation.

What does it mean to close a project?

Once a project is closed it means that

  • No more stories or survey responses can be created within it

  • You can still see the data relating to the project

Can I reopen a closed project?

Yes. You can reopen a closed project by

  • going to the project's profile page and clicking Reopen

  • going to your organisation's Closed Projects page and clicking Reopen on that project

Is closing a project the same as deleting a project?

  • No. Closing a project is different to permanently deleting a project.

  • Closing a project is temporary.

  • Deleting a project is permanent.

  • You can only delete a project once it has been closed.

How to close a project

  1. Go to the Project's profile page

  2. Press the More Options button in the cover section

  3. Select Close Project

  4. The project becomes closed and the users (colleagues) assigned to the project will receive an email to let them know that it has been closed
