Where Ideas appear

When an Idea is created, it appears in the following places:

• My Home Newsfeed of users who are following the user who created the Idea

• User Profile Page of the user who created the Idea

• Manage Ideas page of the user who created the Idea (the Idea will appear in either the Personal library view or the Organisation library view depending on whether the owner of the Idea is set to be a User or an Organisation)

• Explore Ideas page: The visibility of the Idea to other users depends on two factors:

  • the filters that a user chooses when they are on the Explore Ideas

  • the privacy setting of the Idea- The difference between Story/Idea privacy and the Newsfeed Algorithm

• When an Idea is added to a Collection, it is accessible from the following places: Collection profile page- Add a tip to a Collection

• Additional places that an Idea appears if the Idea is tagged to one or more Outcomes and Trackers: Idea popup of a Card on a Progress Board (it will only appear for Cards of the Outcome or Tracker that the Idea is tagged to).
