You can add 'Other' as an answer choice to a multiple choice question in a survey

Add an Open Text question called “If other:”

Use skip logic to hide the “If other” text field when it’s not needed

What to do when there are several questions with Other as an Answer Choice

  • Each question in a survey must be unique.

  • This means that you cannot have two or more Open Text questions which are both called If other

  • Therefore adjust the wording of your If Other open text question each time

    • i.e. word it as If you selected Other to [name of question]

    • For example: If you selected Other to what you enjoyed most about the workshop, add what you enjoyed here
