There are four steps to calculating verdicts based on people’s answers to a survey
Step 1 | Step 2 (this step) | Step 3 | Step 4 |
---|---|---|---|
Allocate points to each survey question’s Answer Choices | Enter the formula used to calculate each person’s score | Assign a verdict to each range of scores |
Steps
Go to the Create/Edit Survey Template page
Add your Multiple Choice Questions to the survey from either Your Organisation Library or from the Public Library
Because verdicts are turned on for this survey:
an Add Points button appears next to every Multiple Choice Question that has already been added to the survey (i.e. shown on the right side).
Clicking the Add Points button causes the Add Points Popup to appear
an Add Points popup appears every time you add a Multiple Choice Tracker to the survey
How to use the Add Points popup
Click the Add Points button next to the Multiple Choice Questions that will be used to calculate the verdict
A popup appears
Press the Create your own set of points option
(If you or a colleague have already allocated a set of points to this Progress Tracker, you will see a third option to Choose an existing set of points)
Give this Set of Points a name (give it the same name as the survey question)
Enter the number of points that should be assigned to each question
Press the Save button within the popup
This causes the popup to close and saves this set of points to that question’s Answer Choices
Repeat the process for each Multiple Choice Question you need to allocate points to
Then scroll to the bottom of the page and press Save
You arrive on the Survey Template page
