You can create one or more targets for every goal and sub goal metric on every project.

To set targets you need to have two things in place:

You need to be a Project Manager of a project (or an Organisation Admin of an organisation with at least one project)
Your project needs to have a minimum of one item from this list:
1. An Activity Goal
2. A Participation Goal
3. A tickbox sub goal
4. A Numerical sub goal
5. A Multiple Choice sub goal

There are two types of target

Simple one-off targets (i.e. there is no deadline for the target)
dateMilestone deadline-based targets (ie.eg. there are deadlines for each target, e.g. monthly targets, such as monthly or quarterly targets, annual targets, etc.or targets at across custom reporting periods)

Once you set targets with deadlines, Makerble automatically calculates your progress at across three levels horizons:

Progress in the period: i.e. the progress that has been made between the previous deadline and the upcoming deadline. For example, progress within the last quarter.
Cumulative Annual Progress: i.e. the progress that has been made since the start of the year
- You can set your own Year Start Date, for example to 5th April rather than 1st January
Cumulative All-time Progress: i.e. the progress that has been made since the project began
