Set album targets manually
You can set album targets manually for every Progress Tracker.
There are two types of target:
All Time targets
Deadline-based targets (Period, annual and cumulative)
Type of target | What it means |
---|---|
All Time | Each Progress Tracker on your album has one target.
|
Deadline-Album
| You start by setting an End Date for each period.
When entering Periodic targets, set the number you want to achieve within that period, not the cumulative amount that you want to have achieved by the end of that period including the previous periods. Makerble automatically calculates the cumulative progress and targets for you. |
You can see progress towards target from several places
Album page (in the Progress Panel)
Progress Board
Steps
Only Project Managers and Organisation Admins are allowed to set targets.
You must add Progress Trackers to at least one of the projects in your album before you can add targets. Targets are attached to Progress Trackers.
Select My Apps from the top menu
Select Albums
You arrive on the My Projects & Albums page
Find the album you want to set targets for
Select the Actions button for that album or click the title of the album, go to it's Album page and click the Actions menu in the cover section
Select Targets from the drop-down menu
You arrive on the album's Targets page
Choose Manually rather than Automatically
You should only tick the Cumulative Annual and Cumulative All-Time tick boxes once you have saved your most recently added set of targets. (I.e. press save, then return to the Targets page and then tick the Cumulative tick boxes)
Set targets for each Progress Trackers
It is okay to set targets for some Progress Trackers and not others
Choose Add deadlines (End dates) if you want to set Periodic targets.
You can choose the date of each Deadline (End Date) and can therefore set custom deadlines for your targets
When setting targets for each Deadline (End Date), enter the actual figure for that ‘period’, rather than the cumulative figure. (This is because Makerble will automatically calculate the cumulative figure for that period)
A ‘period’ is the time between each deadline column
If for progress tracking purposes your year starts on a date other than 1st January, use the Year Start Date to pick an alternative date to start your year on
Either type in the new date or use the Date Picker by clicking the calendar icon
Scroll to the bottom and press save once you have finished adding Targets and Deadlines
You return to the Album page
Select Table in the progress panel (rather than Strategy or List) to see a table of the collective progress towards every target from the projects within your Album
