Custom Alerts (In-App Alerts are a type of Automated Action. They are automatically generated by Makerble when an Automation’s Criteria are met.

The top 3 things you need to know about Custom Alerts

  1. Custom Alerts are one of the many Automated Actions you can add to an Automation

  2. When a Custom Alert is generated, its status stays as Unresolved until someone Resolves it

  3. Your unresolved Custom Alerts show up in the top menu and you’ll also get notified of them by email.

In-App Alerts

  • In-App Alerts are a special type of notification that are generated by an Automation

  • In-App Alerts appear in the Alerts button in the top menu (its icon is the shape of a klaxon)

  • A number appears next to the In-App Alerts button in the top menu to tell you how many unresolved Alerts you have

  • An In-App Alert can either be unresolved or resolved

  • Every In-App Alert you receive is about a single contact
