Custom Alerts (In-App Alertsare a type of Automation Action. They are automatically generated by Makerble when an Automation’s Criteria are met.

  • An In-App Alert starts off as Unresolved until you change its status to Resolved

  • You can see the status of every In-App Alert in the In-App Alerts Menu and on the Manage Alerts page

  • You can create your own Automations that perform Actions when your Criteria are met

The top 3 things you need to know about Custom Alerts

  1. Custom Alerts are one of the many Automated Actions you can add to an Automation

  2. When a Custom Alert is generated, its status stays as Unresolved until someone Resolves it

  3. Your unresolved Custom Alerts show up in the top menu and you’ll also get notified of them by email.

In-App Alerts

  • Alerts are a special type of notification

  • Alerts appear in the Alerts button in the top menu (its icon is the shape of a klaxon)

  • A number appears next to the Alerts button in the top menu to tell you how many unresolved Alerts you have

  • An alert can either be unresolved or resolved

  • Each alert you receive is about a single contact
