Custom Alerts (In-App Alertsare a type of Automation Action. They are automatically generated by Makerble when an Automation’s Criteria are met.
An In-App Alert starts off as Unresolved until you change its status to Resolved
You can see the status of every In-App Alert in the In-App Alerts Menu and on the Manage Alerts page
You can create your own Automations that perform Actions when your Criteria are met

When a Custom Alert is generated, its status stays as Unresolved until someone Resolves it
Your unresolved Custom Alerts show up in the top menu and you’ll also get notified of them by email.
