Access the Project Preferences page of the project you want to change the default story privacy setting for
Scroll down to the Default Story Privacy section
Change the privacy level to the level you want to use going forwards
Scroll to the bottom of the page and press Save
Managing the "Share with tagged Active Participants" Feature
Further using the "Share with Active Participants" checkbox in the STORIES section and setting the default Story Privacy Level across an entire project. These features ensure that story sharing and privacy settings are managed efficiently and relevantly.
A new checkbox is added to the Project Preferences page to control the visibility of the "Share with Active Participants" checkbox on the Create Story page. This checkbox is hidden by default and will only appear when configured by the user. Additionally, the default Story Privacy Level for new stories can be set at the project level.
Steps to Configure and Use the Feature
Accessing the Project Preferences Page
Navigate to Project Preferences
Go to the Project Preferences page for the desired project.
Enable the Feature
Scroll to the STORIES section at the bottom of the page.
Locate the new checkbox labeled "Share stories with Active Participants."
Tick this checkbox to enable the feature.
Creating a Story with Active Participants
Navigate to Create Story Page
Go to the Create Story page as a signed-in user
View the Checkbox
When the "Share stories with Active Participants" checkbox is enabled in Project Preferences, the "Share with tagged Active Participants" checkbox will be displayed on the Create Story page.
Note: The checkbox will not appear if the feature is not enabled in Project Preferences.
Using the Checkbox
If the "Share with tagged Active Participants" checkbox is visible, you can tick it to share the story with tagged active participants.
This option is useful for targeting specific participants with the shared story.
