You can add a Question Pool to the survey - which is a collection of questions, and each time the survey is completed, it will choose a random question from the pool for the user to answer.

This is helpful when the survey has to be answered very often and you do not want the users becoming bored of answering the same questions or you want to randomise the questions appearing on the survey. As the question pool chooses a random question each time, it keeps the survey fresh every time it is completed.

Question pool works for a single question. That is, each question pool displays one question on the survey. If you want to add multiple random questions, you have to create multiple question pools and add them to the survey separately.

Steps to add a Question Pool:

  1. Go to the Edit survey template page. You can get there by either

    1. Creating a new Survey Template

  2. You arrive in the Survey Editor

  3. If there is a pool already created, you can find it in the left side panel. Search the name at the top. Click Add questions pool to survey button to add one of these Question Pool to the survey template.
