There maybe times when you have to send a survey to a lot of people, such as at an event and sharing a link with all is not possible. In such situations, you can share a QR code instead which can be scanned to go to the survey page and the people can fill the survey.
You can collect survey responses from anyone who has the QR code.
You decide whether you want to include a name field in your survey or not
If you don't include a Name survey, then your responses will likely be anonymous.
Note: Makerble has two options for allowing the respondents of a survey to remain anonymous:
Anonymous mode - whereby anyone with the link can complete the survey (described on this page)
Anonymised unique survey links sent to contacts (to use this option, follow these separate steps instead)
Using The QR Code
Steps to collect survey responses from anyone with QR Code
Go to the Survey Campaign page
Select the toggle to enable collection of survey responses from anyone with the link
The Disabled button changes to say Share link
Click the Share Link button
A public link as well as a QR code for the link is generated.
Click on the QR Code button below the generated link.
A popup appears with the QR Code for the survey.
You can Download the QR code using the Download button and then you can attach the QR or print it, to add the survey anywhere you want.
The user just have to scan this QR code to access the survey and fill it.
Option to Save the name of the Respondent
By default every survey response collected from anyone with the link will be linked to a new contact in your Makerble CRM (the Contacts App) called “Respondent 1”, “Respondent 2”, etc
If you want the name of the Respondent to be displayed instead of the generic “Respondent Number” title, just add the Respondent Name field to your survey
This feature is turned off by default. Follow these steps to turn it on.
