The Ideas popup is available when you are on a Progress Board.

What you can do with Ideas on a Board

  • See Ideas related to that Progress Tracker

  • Create an Idea

  • Discuss an Idea

  • Favourite an Idea

  • Edit or Delete an Idea you own

See Ideas related to that Progress Tracker

  • The Ideas Button (with the Lightbulb icon) changes colour from grey to teal when there are Tips to see.

Steps

  1. Click the Ideas Button (shown as a lightbulb).

  2. The Ideas popup launches and displays ideas that relate to that Progress Tracker.

Create an Idea

You can create an Idea related to this Progress Tracker.

  1. In the Ideas popup, press the Create Idea button.

  1. You arrive on the Create Idea page.

  2. You will see that the Progress Tracker has already been tagged to the Idea.

  1. Follow the steps to create an idea and then press Save.

  2. You will arrive on the Idea’s page. To return to the Progress Board you were on originally, follow the steps to go to a Board.

Add Ideas to your favourites

  • In the Ideas Popup, click the Heart icon to save an Idea to your favourites.

  • Ideas that you add to your favourites appear in your My Ideas.

Discuss an Idea

  • Start typing in the Write a comment text box below each idea.

  • Press the red Post button once you have finished your comment.

  • This will begin a discussion about that idea and send the Idea Creator a notification to let them know that someone has commented on their idea.

Tag someone in a comment about an Idea

  • Press the “@” symbol while writing a comment about an idea.

  • This will allow you to enter the name of one of your colleagues and tag them in your comment.

  • Once you press Post, your colleague will receive a notification letting them know that you tagged them in a comment.

Go to the profile of the idea creator

  • Every idea was created by a person or an organisation.

  • The profile picture and name of the creator of each Idea is displayed in the top left corner of the idea.

  • Click the name or profile picture to visit the Profile Page of the idea’s creator.

Edit an Idea you own

  • If you are the creator of an Idea (or have Editorial Ownership of a tip owned by your organisation), you will see the 3-dot menu button appear in the top right corner of the idea.

  • Clicking the icon produces a dropdown menu that contains an Edit button.

  • Pressing Edit will redirect you to the Edit Idea page where you can change everything about the idea.

Delete an Idea you own

  • If you are the creator of an Idea (or have Editorial Ownership of an idea owned by your organisation), you will see the option to Delete your idea from the 3-dot dropdown menu in the top right corner of the idea.

  • You can also delete an idea from your My Ideas.
