How to format a spreadsheet to import survey responses

You can import survey responses into Makerble.

Steps

  1. Download this template: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1Q4YSt-PXybZto0vgd0EMzBAXH1k4e2OJ&usp=drive_fs

  2. Open it in Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel or another spreadsheet editor

  3. Check there is a column called Respondent Name

  4. Check there is a column called Date of Survey Response

  5. Find the survey you want to import on Makerble

    1. See your organisation’s surveys Manage your organisation's surveys

    2. Find additional surveys: Explore surveys: discover publicly available survey templates

  6. Then copy each of the questions into the title of a column

  7. Add a column for each survey question

  8. The column for Staff member who recorded the survey response is optional

  9. Then fill out the table with the survey responses and the names of each respondent

  10. Note: the survey responses should match the Answer Choices that are available for that question

  11. Next, download your spreadsheet in CSV format

  12. Now you can import your data into Makerble:

    1. Import survey responses, attendance records, case notes and stories with tagged contacts using a CSV file

If your survey has verdicts enabled those verdicts will be calculated.
