You can delete an album.
This will not delete the underlying records which the album brings together (e.g. the projects, stories, contacts, colleagues).
Once you delete an album it cannot be restored but you can very easily recreate an album by choosing the same projects.
Steps
Go to the Edit Album page
Select the Delete option
