Remove the default name field in your Contact Form

You can now remove the name field, which was previously a default field.

There are some things that happen when the name field is removed. You can go through this process smoothly after reading the following points:

1. The bin icon can be seen next to the name field

   

2. If you click on the bin, a pop-up opens, and asks if you really intend to remove that field from your form. It looks something like this:
   

   

3. Click on Yes-Remove it button, if you really want to remove it. Remember, you can add it back again anytime.
   

4. Read the instructions on the pop-up carefully. All contacts created through this form will have “FORM RESPONDENT-1” as their name.
   

5. It will NOT affect any old contacts that were created using this form.
