You can revoke a user’s access to content within your Organisation.

There are several types of content on Makerble and depending on the privacy settings you’ve enabled for each type of content, you can revoke access in different ways.

Type of content

Scenario (privacy settings you’ve enabled)

How to revoke access

Albums

User has access through their role as Album Manager, Album Member, Project Observer, Project Reporter, Project Manager, Organisation Admin, Project Creator or Organisation Member

Go to the Edit page for that album and remove those users.

Boards

User has access through their role as Board Admin or Board Member

Go to the Colleagues tab of the Edit Managed Board page

Contacts

User has access to the contact through External Sharing

  1. Go to the Contact Profile Page of each contact that the User has been granted access to via External Sharing

  2. Open the Privacy Settings for that contact and change the user’s access to No Access

Contacts

User has access to the contact through their role as a Project Observer, Project Reporter, Project Manager, Organisation Admin, Project Creator or Organisation Member

Remove the user from each project they are part of from

Metrics

Editorial Ownership of the metric is set to Specific Individuals and the user is listed as one of those individuals

Edit the metric and remove that user from the list of individuals

Metrics

User is owner of a metric

Contact customer-success@makerble.com and request to transfer ownership to your organisation

Organisation-wide administrative settings

User is an Organisation Admin

Change the user’s organisation role from Admin to None on the Manage Colleagues page and then press Save.

User is listed as the Organisation Leader (i.e. their User Account registered the Organisation on Makerble)

Projects

User has access to the project through their role as a Project Observer, Project Reporter, Project Manager, Organisation Admin, Project Creator or Organisation Member

Remove the user from each project they are part of from

Projects

User has access to project stats, stories and information because the project was approved to be shown to their album

Contact customer-success@makerble.com to revoke approval

Stories (includes Survey Responses)

User has access to the story through Sharing With Specific Individuals

Go to the privacy setting of each story that the user has access to and remove them from the access list.

If you do not want to take this approach or you do not know which stories they have access to, deactivate the User’s Account instead.

User has access to the contact through their role as a Project Observer, Project Reporter, Project Manager, Organisation Admin, Project Creator or Organisation Member

Remove the user from each project they are part of from

Surveys

User is owner of a survey.

Contact customer-success@makerble.com and request to transfer ownership to your organisation
