Lists appear in several places on Makerble:

  • Contact Forms

  • Event Creation Forms

  • Event Guest Booking Forms

  • Surveys

Although in some instances you can create a List while creating or editing a form, you cannot edit an existing List while creating or editing form.

To edit an existing List, you must go to the appropriate app.

How to edit an existing List

  • To edit a List that appears in a Contact Form, Event Creation Form, Event Guest Booking Form or Survey, go to the Lists App (steps described below)

  • To change which List is used as the set of answer choices in a Multiple Choice Survey Question, go to the Goals App and follow the steps to edit a Multiple Choice Tracker. But if you want to simply edit an existing list, go via the Lists App (steps described below)

Steps

  1. Go to My Apps in the top menu

  2. Select Lists

  3. You arrive on the Manage Lists page

  4. This displays the Lists that are owned by you or your organisation

  5. From here you can click the Edit button next to a List to edit that list

  6. When you click edit you arrive on the Edit List page

  7. Press the Add Item button to add a new item to the list

  8. In the Priority field below each item, enter a number. This determines which order that item will appear within the list.

    1. Each item must have a number

    2. No two items can have the same number

    3. Numbers should increase sequentially from “1” although they do not need to be listed in order
